The Downtown Small Business Relief Fund is a new fund of Marietta Main Street that allows downtown business owners to apply for funds of up to $3,000 for things like rent relief, marketing and advertising dollars, equipment and supply purchases, and technical support to ensure our vital downtown business community has the resources they need to thrive.

The Downtown Small Business Relief Fund is intended to support a vibrant downtown business community that can withstand difficult circumstances like flooding, global health pandemics, and others. This program is intended to pair financial resources with small business owners seeking to strengthen their operations, further laying roots in our community, and contributing to a quality of life for all.

Eligible Requests

  • Equipment and supply purchases

  • Marketing and advertising dollars

  • Rent relief

  • Technical training and support

  • Requests that deepen the stability of the small business and strengthen operations

  • Requests that are no more than $3,000

Eligible Applicants

  • Commercial downtown business owners within the C4 District of the City of Marietta, OH as defined by the provided zoning map

  • Priority is given to small business owners with 15 or fewer employees

  • Funding requests will be prioritized based on expressed need and category of funding request.
