What is Main Street? We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused solely on revitalizing downtown Marietta, OH through community and economic development strategies.
Our events, programs, and initiatives bring people together - from downtown beautification to First Friday events, building improvement grants, Enrich Marietta, Bike Marietta, public art, small business support, Hometown Holidays and so much more - in all we do, we stand strong on our mission.
We support local, we invest locally, and we live local. With a small staff and a mighty team of volunteers, we accomplish big things for our small town.

Become a Friend of Main Street
Friends of Main Street are individual donors who make a contribution of $100 or more to support our mission. As thanks, we will send each Friend of Main Street an exclusive canvas tote bag that uplifts local + a Main Street pin and sticker. Plus, Friends of Main Street will be listed on our website and in our annual report. Our canvas tote bags are given in gratitude only to Friends of Main Street and a new design is created each year.
The 2021 design features an “Eat. Shop. Drink. Local” message. With COVID-19 shutting down communities in March 2020 and restrictions continuing into this year, it’s important that we do everything we can to keep our dollars local - not only does support for small, local businesses keep 4X the amount of money in our local economy, but it keeps our friends, family, and neighbors employed, it keeps our downtown thriving, it ensures tourists have a reason to keep coming back, and it supports our local tax base. There are a million reasons to support local and this tote bag is the perfect opportunity to don a support local message while shopping local during First Friday events and more!

Contribute to our Endowment at the Marietta Community Foundation
For donors looking to invest over $2,000 into our organization, we prefer those donations be processed through the Marietta Community Foundation and contributed to our endowment.
Our endowment at the Foundation is intended to set up Marietta Main Street for long-term success; these funds support ongoing operations and are expertly managed by the skillful team at MCF.
Donors of this capacity - between $2,000 and $10,000 or more - invest in the long-term success not only for downtown but for our entire community.
