FLOAT GUIDELINES

  • Distributing candy is permitted but please do not throw it and create a mess on the streets.

  • This is a family-friendly parade and we encourage you to get in the spirit of Christmas in July

  • Live animal units are fully responsible for their own immediate clean-up.

  • Santa Claus will be on the final float of the parade, coordinated by Marietta Main Street. We ask that Santa Claus not be included on any other floats.

Cabin Fever Shop Hop

March 25th is our Cabin Fever Shop Hop in Downtown Marietta. We have 18 participating businesses, both retail and dining. Every purchase made at participating businesses enters you to win our grand prize basket containing $600 of merchandise and gift cards from those businesses. There will be sales and specials at the stores and they will be holding their own in-store raffles. Rain or shine, it will be the perfect day to get out and enjoy a day in our beautiful downtown.

2023 Flower Basket Campaign

Celebrate someone who has made a difference. Sponsor a flower basket.

Honor someone who has made a difference, whether in your life or the lives of others, with flowers that bloom the whole summer through!

Sponsor a hanging flower basket to be hung on our downtown lamp posts In Honor of or In Memory of someone who has made a difference, or as a Business Sponsor. Sponsored flower baskets will be accompanied by a prominent gift tag attached to the basket’s lamp post celebrating both the sponsor and the person/business they have chosen.

Each basket sponsorship is $75 with the option to contribute an additional $25 as a donation to Marietta Main Street in support of our mission to continue revitalizing downtown and doing our part to bring the Marietta community together.

The deadline to sponsor downtown lampposts is Monday, April 30th.

Important Information

  • Flower baskets & gift tags are set to be installed the week of May 8th.

  • Flower baskets will be hung all throughout downtown, including Front, Second, Putnam, Butler, Greene and Harmar Village. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee specific locations for sponsored flower baskets.

  • The full list of sponsors will not be announced until after Friday May 12th. If you are sponsoring a basket In Honor of someone, we invite you to bring them downtown and surprise them by finding their gift tag on a lamp post!

  • Flower baskets will be removed the end of September.

  • Gift tags will be removed the middle of September.

Our 2023 flower basket campaign has ended.
