Mid-Ohio Valley Restaurant Week

February 27 to March 4

This week-long celebration of local restaurants is kicking off soon, and includes not one, not two, but SIX restaurants in downtown Marietta! In each restaurant, you can enjoy a 3-course meal for just $30 - the perfect opportunity to go on a culinary adventure!

Colony Short Film Festival

March 2 to March 4

The Eleventh Annual Colony Short Film Festival is a showcase for independent films from all over the country and the globe, with a focus on featuring local and regional talent from the Ohio Valley. The Colony Short Film Festival features selections from emerging and established short filmmakers that have ranged from innovative, to off-the-wall and from quirky to provocative. All shows take place at the historic Peoples Bank Theatre in downtown Marietta.

First Friday

March 3 | 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

With about 22 restaurants and 40 active retailers, plus two hotels and a number of venues for night life, historic downtown Marietta is a destination for everyone and anyone to enjoy a night out on the town, which is only one of the reasons why Marietta Main Street is excited to announce this new program in 2017. 

First Friday: March is sponsored by Washington State Community College and the theme is Mardi Gras! Come downtown dressed to celebrate, get your photo taken in any number of the Instagram Photo Booths wandering around downtown, children can have their face painted by volunteers from WSCC, and receive your First Friday Downtown Guide for a $5 donation to Marietta Main Street to see which shops are open! Get 10 punches on your map and enter the drawing to be one of four lucky winners to receive a $500.00 scholarship to take a class at Washington State Community College!

Main Street Mardi Crawl

March 3 | 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The Main Street Mardi Crawl will celebrate Mardi Gras in style by bringing the excitement downtown! Starting at 7 p.m. and ending at 11 p.m., the Main Street Mardi Crawl will feature stops at a variety of bars downtown, each with exclusive drink specials and, of course, Mardi Gras beads for everyone who shows their tickets!

Ticket holders will receive a ticket with all stops on it and a signature drink cup.

Tickets are capped at 100 and are being sold for $20.
