The holiday season in Marietta is full of Christmas magic. From a display of beautifully decorated trees in East Muskingum Park to a Christmas Tree topping 22’ with thousands of lights displayed in the heart of downtown, fun events, horse-drawn carriage rides, downtown shops and restaurants decked out in holiday flare, and much more, the holiday season in Marietta is a time for celebration and a whole lot of local love.

This year, the City of Marietta alongside the Marietta-Washington County CVB and Marietta Main Street are proud to introduce a Marietta Tour of Lights. The Tour of Lights will be an attraction for both locals and tourists that will guide visitors throughout our beautiful City to view holiday displays created by residents at their homes. It is our hope that this experience will not only invite visitors from near and far to travel to Washington County and fall in love with our town but that locals will have even more fun possibilities for family activities right at their fingertips during the holiday season.

2021 Ohio Holiday Lights Trail

We are proud to share that our Tour of Lights lights display has been selected for the 2021 Ohio Holiday Lights Trail created by Ohio. Find It Here., the state tourism bureau. This will be the fifth year they’ve promoted such a trail and each year it grows in popularity!
